The construction of Villa Sant'Andrea was built in 1830 by an aristocratic British family, who after having moved to Italy found in the beautiful setting of Taormina the ideal place to live. The Villa Sant'Andrea was later converted and became a hotel, which since the 1950’s has been acknowledged as one of the most exclusive in Taormina. To date the Hotel Villa Sant’Andrea maintains all the charm of a historical private residence. Valuable artworks and antique pieces adorn its interior, making its style truly unique.

Surrounded by a park filled with subtropical vegetation, with its private beach it dominates the Bay of Mazzarò. Most of its bright, welcoming rooms do in fact look out over the bay. Amongst these we find the prestigious 67 square meters “Alfred Percy Trewhella” suite, with its two bedrooms and double bathroom and a 60 square meters terrace with gazebo, couch, armchairs and sun loungers. The “Tyron Power” and “Winston Churchill” suites each come equipped with a hydro massage tub. The “Gertrude Sarauw”, “Florence Trevelyan”, “Mabel Hill” and “Richard Manley” suites, with their sea view balconies equipped with seats and sun loungers complete the range of suites on offer at the Hotel Villa Sant’Andrea.

The restaurant “Oliviero” of Hotel Villa Sant’Andrea, which is renowned for its seafood specialities, offers a sophisticated à la carte menu, featuring the best dishes from the great Sicilian culinary tradition. There are both indoor and outdoor bars -the latter being situated on the large terrace - where the piano provides an atmospheric musical accompaniment to an after dinner drink. Our beach service provides guests with healthy fresh fruit snacks and vegetable smoothies.
